The Students Affairs office is concerned with the balanced development of students. It promotes, initiates and coordinates programs, activities and services for the students' personal and social development.
SAO takes over-all charge of the following non-academic concerns of the students:
- Takes overall charge of student discipline. It supervises student behavior and investigates reported cases of misbehavior and investigates reported case of misbehavior, assesses pertinent facts and imposes the proper sanction for minor offenses or violations of school policies, rules and conduct.
- Conducts the preliminary investigation proceedings for serious cases. Should there be a prima facie evidence on the case, the SAO will furnish the University President, through the VP-Student Welfare, with the investigation report. In case the University President finds merit on the case, he may form an Ad Hoc Committee to conduct the formal and proper investigation proceedings. The findings of the Ad Hoc Committee will be recommended to the University President for his final decision.
- Monitors the wearing of the school uniform and issues clearance for exemption.
- All student organizations are directly under the charge, regulation and supervision of the SAO
- Issues the permit to publish only the duly registered and recognized studetn organizations.
- Monitors all student publications consonant with RA 7079 or Campus Journalism Act.
- Issues clearances for the posting of notices of announcement, or for distribution of any reading material.
- Periodically recognizes good behavior by giving awards for student leadership, athletes, campus writing and other co-curricular activities.
