Page 1 of 4 FUNCTION The Records Division keeps, processes, evaluates and issues requests for student's records. OBJECTIVES
- To interpret to the faculty and students the policies and guidelines of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on matters pertaining to the students’ academic loads, overloading, cross-enrolment, and permit to study in another school during the regular and summer terms.
- To insure the confidentiality of the students’ academic records.
- To evaluate students’ records in order to insure that they have completed the requirements for their respective curricular programs.
- To cooperate and coordinate with other learning institutions both public and private for the benefit of the entire academic community, especially the students, by means of promoting mutual assistance, sharing of information, and improvement of services.
- To expedite the release of records, certifications and all documents necessary for providing students and alumni with adequate academic credentials.
- To maintain rapport and harmonious relationships with all sectors of the academic community in order to promote compliance with the standards and regulations of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
- To promote and foster international understanding through assistance to foreign students by maintaining realistic admission procedures and by coordinating with government regulatory bodies charged with the approval of the entry and stay of foreign students and the monitoring of their activities in the duration of their studies.
- To uphold the academic standard of the University in consonance with the policies and regulations of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
