The Instructional Media Center (IMC) plans and develops audio-visual resources to meet the instructional and research needs of the university

POLICIES

The following policies are set to maximize the services of IMC:

  • The Audio-Visual Room (AVR) is primarily for co-curricular activities and should not be used for practices of programs and holding of classes.
  • Reservations:
    • Reservations for the use of the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) and other instructional facilities should be made during the regular office hours of the IMC, two weeks before the scheduled activity, and followed up two days after.
    • The Reservation Form for the use of the AVR and other instructional facilities should be filled out completely and signed by the Department Head/Dean, before its submission to the IMC Office.
    • Any student organization applying for reservation for the use of the AVR for symposia and/or slide and film showings should have the approval of the organization's faculty advier and the Student Affairs Office (SAO) before submitting the form to the IMC Office.
    • The use of additional facilities not stated on the approved Reservation Slip is strictly discouraged.
  • In case of postponement or cancellation of the scheduled activity, the applicant is requested to inform the IMC two days prior to the original schedule of the activity so that the Audio-Visual Room may be made available to other groups.
  • Recording services for instructional purposes should be made by way of job order, signed by the Department Head/Dean and approved by the IMC Head.
  • Any material and equipment borrowed from the IMC should be returned on or before the close of office hours on the same day.
  • Permit applicants/applicants shall assume jointly and severally with the association/group/department/office represented, the full responsibility for whatever damage that shall arise directly or indirectly with the use of the equipment and facilities.
  • The Instructional Media Center reserves the right to cancel or revoke a permit granted to anybody in case of misrepresentation and or violation of any of the above rules and regulations.

Monday to Friday : 8:00 AM - 12:00 NN, 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Saturday : 8:00 AM - 12:00 NN
