JOB PLACEMENT

The Placement Section of the Student Development Center:
	Prepares the graduating students to the world of work.
	Creates linkages with different establishments/alumni.
	Organizes pre-employment activities.
	Keeps placement profile of those who graduated.
	Displays updated information on employment opportunities.
	Spearheads career assessment session for college sophomores.

ACTIVITIES:
	*CAREER ASSESSMENT*
		a three-hour session given to 2nd year students to help increase their understanding to the course they are in.
	*PRE-EMPLOYMENT TEST EXPOSURE*
		a one and a half hour test designed specifically for use in personnel selection programs exposure to these tests will ensure better performance during actual pre-employment testing.
	*JOB HUNTING SEMINAR*
		a three-hour activity wherein company personnels are invited to share ideas on "the application process" and the "desirable traits on employee".
	*JOB FAIR*
		a two-day in-campus recruitment wherein companies come to USJ-R to conduct company orientation, talks, testing, interviews and distribution of application forms for possible employment.
	*PLACEMENT REGISTRATION*
		an ongoing activity for alumni and prospective graduates where placement profile sheets are filled out by them and are kept on file at the placement section for ready access for possible employment.
